Creative Director, Upside-Down Dance, Certified Pilates Teacher through the Pilates Method Alliance. Certified STOTT PILATES Instructor Trainer, BA Dance with an emphasis in Performance/Choreography from The Dance Center of Columbia College Chicago. Dynamic Dancer: Kinesthetic Anatomy of the Spine and Trunk, Dynamic Dancer: Kinesthetic Anatomy and Biomechanics of the Limbs with Irene Dowd of NY. Nicole Young, assistant creative director
I live to dance, I teach to learn, I paint to share, I
walk on my hands... You can find me at The Movement Center in
Kaimuki and Allegra
Performing Arts Center in Kailua. I can also be found dancing
with Tau

Christopher Steven Quiocho is
from Honolulu, Hawaii. He received his B.F.A. in Dance Theatre
from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Quiocho most recently
appeared in Kennedy Theatre’s “Art, Music &
Dance Fest” on the Mainstage and has performed in numerous
“Footholds” productions in the Earl Ernst Lab Theatre
as well as various venues throughout Hawaii. |

Stephanie Chang, has been home
in Honolulu for 3 years now, and is thrilled to be throwing
herself against walls and floors with Upside-Down Dance. Stephanie
has an M.A. in history from NYU and works in the visual arts
researching and coordinating exhibitions and projects for museums
and galleries around town. |

Lynn Novack, born in Jacksonville
Beach, Florida, feels Hawaii is her true home at heart. Lynn
is an alumnus from the University of Hawaii and majored in art
and minored in dance in 2001. For two years Lynn played professional
tennis, and now teaches tennis at the Waialae Country Club and
Iolani School. She is also pursuing her MA degree at UH in Dance,
and will graduate in May 2005. Last summer Lynn had the opportunity
to attend ADF in North Carolina, and hopes to keep pursuing
her love for modern dance in the years to come in Honolulu. |

Jacqueline Nii, Graduated from
Mid-Pacific School of the Arts. Is Currently attending UH at
Manoa for her BFA in dance and is a part of Tau Dance Theatre. |

Malia Yamamoto, another starving
artist. received her BFA in dance from UH. in addition to Upside-Down
dance, she has performed in shows with Tau Dance Theater, Honolulu
Dance Theatre, Convergence Dance, Kumu Kahua Theater, and the
Hawaii Opera Theater. Support the arts! |

Libby Marie Gimpel is a dance
instructor at Allegra Performing Arts Center in Kailua and at
Iolani High School in Honolulu, where she is also the proud
director of the Iolani HS Senior Dance Team. Libby's most cherished
accomplishment as a dancer are the numerous opportunities that
she has had to perform both nationwide and internationally,
acting as a Goodwill Ambassador for her University, the great
state of Texas, and, most importantly, the United States. |

Maile L. Baran is originally
from Kona, Maile began dancing at the University of Hawaii where
she later received a B.A. in dance. Currently she performs with
Iona Contemporary Dance Theatre and the crazy Giinko Maraschino
gang. She would like to thank Lisa for her great efforts and
energy in creating new opportunities for our beautiful dance
community. |

Media took the pictures and created the art for the program.
He is currently working on his first book of photographs. Orig
Media is also a partner at the ARTS at Marks Garage. |
